I Rely on You
You and I have known each other for a long time
You and I, we go back quite a ways.
We've held each other close, whether laughing or crying,
Through the darkest nights and the brightest days.
I rely on you to keep me healthy,
You rely on me to keep you warm,
We rely on each other, like a sister and a brother,
There's no one that can do us any harm.
When you come home late, I try to stay up for you,
When you get up early, I try to get up too.
I drive you to work, sometimes I drive you crazy,
But I'll always drive back here to be with you.
I thought that I would always adore you,
But somehow, life got in the way,
I can hear myself nagging, I can hear you loudly sighing,
Then you say the right words, and I feel the same old way.
